The countdown to the 2016 Aicardi Family Conference has officially begun! Registration opens on March 15, 2016.
The conference will be held at the Hotel Elegante in Colorado Springs, CO from Thursday, July 21 through Sunday, July 24. All Aicardi families are welcome! As in past years, you can expect a great program, the opportunity to meet and catch up with new and old friends, childcare for our AS children and siblings, the big/little sister program, the raffle, the exchange table, the Friday night ice cream social, the big dance on Saturday night, and of course, our traditional slide show!
For conference veterans, please note some important changes from previous conferences:
- In addition to hosting all meals and activities during the conference, the Foundation has graciously agreed to pay for one room per family for three nights: Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Additional rooms and additional nights will be the responsibility of each family and will be available on a space-available basis. Some limits may apply.
- The conference will begin at 6:00pm Thursday with a casual dinner and dessert social to “meet-up and catch-up.” It will be a great way to wind down from your travel and gear up for a great conference.
- Sunday morning will include breakfast, concurrent sessions, and the support group sessions. The conference will end at noon with the slide show. You won’t want to leave early!
More exciting details will be available in the coming days and weeks, including opportunities to volunteer your time and talents to help create the best conference yet. In the meantime, start planning…and dreaming!

RAFFLE ITEMS FOR CONFERENCE
Happy 2016 to everyone!!! Time to start thinking about Conference 2016! As in the past few years, we will have a family raffle at this year’s gathering. Wanted to give everyone plenty of time to think about what you might be able to contribute to this part of the conference. We are looking for stuff for our girls, stuff for the siblings and stuff that we parents might enjoy, too… therapeutic equipment, movies, books, homemade items, baskets full of fun stuff, gift cards, gift cards, gift cards! Let your imagination run wild! It’s always fun to see what interesting offerings are donated. The money the raffle raises helps pay for the weekend and is TRULY appreciated.
